Fellowship feature: The Arcadian, revamped!
Last night, Candace and I had the chance to attend the launch party for the newly renovated Arcadian Court by Oliver & Bonacini events, and do they ever know how to throw a party! The O&B team showcased the best they have to offer in the culinary industry, which included lobster rolls with sturgeon caviar by Chef Marc St. Jacques of Auberge du Pommier, as well as beef tenderloin with spring pea and potato hash, ramp chimichurri and fried egg.
Procesco, great wines and classic cocktails with a twist flowed, and the fresh oyster bar was favoured by many guests. I personally enjoyed a meal’s worth! The event also featured the delightful creations from Bobbette and Belle, who put together a stunning display with some of their signature French macarons (my favourite was the passion fruit), miniature treats and salted caramel corn. There is something to be said about homemade caramel corn, as it was so addictive! Their wedding cake display showcased some of their new 2012 signature pieces that were adorned in beautifully hand-crafted flowers, vintage lace and billowing bows.
The revitalized venue included the Arcadian and the new Arcadian Loft, which boasted a modern chic appeal, while keeping some of the historic and classic elements that make the space unique.
Overall, it was a great event hosted by the O&B team which showcased what the new Arcadian has to offer, and I would definitely consider it as an option for my next sophisticated event!
